Two years ago I came across this photo on the internet and was curious as to its location. About six months later the one who posted it wrote that she took it during her drive from Watampone to Makassar, in Sulawesi, Indonesia. She could not remember its exact location. It still remains a mystery.

Finally, the mystery of 'Hidden Village" was solved by Ancha of Watampone, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Ancha had a vivid memory of the photo by Mia which she had taken in 2006 and named Hidden Valley that I had shown him.
On Sep 25 Ancha had visited his family in Watampone, a coastal town in South Sulawesi for the Islamic Eid Ul Fitri celebrations. On Oct 9 he was returning to Makassar (capital of South Sulawesi) from where he was to take fight to Jakarta where he works.
It was during the bus trip to Makassar that Ancha spotted the mysterious valley and pulled out his camera.
Thank you Ancha!
